Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉/180℃. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Defrost puff pastry and lay out on a parchment lined sheet pan.
  • Spread halva or peanut butter down the middle of the dough. Top with full bars of chocolate. Cut horizontal lines out of the remaining dough and then cover the chocolate by overlapping strips of down as shown in the video.
  • Brush with egg and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
