Zach is running on the Aish Ha’Am slate for the World Zionist Congress election, urging young Jews to use social media to bring about change.
Zach Sage Fox is bold. The comedian and social media influencer is known for his gutsy stunts, like going to the West Bank to ask residents about Israel and the Jews, talking to Holocaust deniers on the streets of New York, and holding a “Gaza Graduation” game show, where he asked college students about the situation in Israel.
Now, Zach, who has over 1 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, is looking to expand his reach by running on the Aish Ha’Am slate for the World Zionist Congress elections.
“Aish is an amazing organization,” he said. “They already have an emphasis on the social media battlefield. Compared to a lot of other organizations, they are really trying to reach young people and make an impact through social media. I think it makes me a perfect candidate for their slate.”
@zach.sage Gaza Graduation: The Game Show 🧑🎓 Spoiler: the only winners here are H@m@s and The Islamic Republic... so maybe college students should call on them to release the hostages and surrender so there can actually be a ceasefire? If Zach is elected to the WZO, he plans to use his role to share his unique point of view.
“I think it's really important to get some new, younger, fresh blood in there,” he said. “And I think I come from a perspective both as a CEO of a big media company and an outspoken comedian in that I can come and bring a very fresh perspective to the Congress. [I can be] a voice of reason, and really just a voice of looking forward.”
Zach is incredibly passionate about two things: his Judaism, and spreading pro-Jewish, pro-Israel messages on social media.
“I pray every day, I go to synagogue, and I do the High Holidays,” he said. “I'm super involved in the Jewish community in New York. In a lot of ways, I've been able to appeal to a really broad spectrum of Jews since I started being active after October 7. I sort of teeter between both worlds – the more religious spectrum of Jews, but also the more moderate and secular spectrum as well. I identify with elements of all of them.”
Whether Zach is making funny videos or talking about more serious topics, he uses his large platform to advocate for his people. He wants others to do the same, since he sees what’s going on today as a PR battle.
“Our enemies are using social media to spread the most viral, global antisemitic campaign in human history,” he said. “I think it's even more widespread than what the Nazis were able to do. The Nazis were able to really stir up antisemitism in the West. Now, antisemitism and anti-Zionism have reached corners of the earth where Jews have barely stepped foot, and that's really scary.”
Social media is sending the wrong messages about Jews to people who have never even met a Jew.
“It means you can paint whatever kind of picture you want [about us],” Zach said. “It's really important for us to retake the tool of social media and to use it as an advantage, to make our message and our people go viral, so we can spread light in the darkest corners of the earth that are just so dim right now.”

Zach is confident that Israel is going to win the ground war, but the social media and PR war matter as well.
“The PR war is the biggest thing that we need to be focusing on,” he said. “How does such a small people get their message out to the masses?”
According to Zach, now is the time to speak up about what’s going on with the Jewish community, no matter who you are.
“Be loud, be proud, and if you think you have a voice that can actually make a difference, pick up your phone, have your friends start filming you, interviewing people on the street, and go and speak up, because we need all of the voices that we can get out there,” he said.
You don’t have to be an influencer – simply use your skills to get the message across.
“Figure out what you're best at,” he said. “What's your biggest talent that you have, that you think is unique? How can you apply your Judaism to it and spreading truth about Jews and Israel, whether it's drawing, business, or law? Figure out some way that you can be using your God given Jewish gifts to amplify the Jewish story.”
