Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
- â…“ cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese room temperature (about 1 pound)
- ¾ cup plus 1 tablespoon tahini divided
- ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
- ½ cup strong Turkish coffee made with cardamom
- 40-45 lady finger cookies
- Cocoa powder for dusting

- Add heavy cream to a mixing bowl and beat on medium speed with a stand mixer. Slowly add sugar and cardamom and continue to beat until stiff peaks are seen. Remove to a separate bowl.
- Place mascarpone in mixer bowl with ¾ cup tahini and 3 tablespoons sugar. Whisk for 2 minutes until well blended. Add whipped cream to mascarpone and fold until combined.
- Combine Turkish coffee with remaining 1 tablespoon tahini and place in a bowl. Dip lady fingers in the coffee before laying them in a single layer on the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan or into 8 individual dessert cups.
- Smooth half of the mascarpone mixture over the top. Add another layer of dipped lady fingers. Smooth remaining mascarpone cream over the top.
- Dust cocoa powder and cardamom powder generously over the top using a fine mesh strainer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight before serving.
