Sivan Kobi

Sivan Kobi was born in Israel into a family of bakers. Her grandfather, uncle, and father were all pastry chefs and bakers. In 1980 her parents decide to move from the land of milk and honey to Los Angeles and Sivan was only 4 years old at the time. She grew up a “valley girl” and attended Jewish day schools. Her parents owned three very successful bakeries and one deli all over the Los Angeles area. She was practically raised in the bakeries, watching her father bake as her mother ran the stores.  She married her first love, a fellow Israeli-American after high school and became a mom at 19!  Over the years she worked as a Hebrew teacher assistant, fitness instructor, and owned a successful custom cake business. When the pandemic hit, she decided to finally share her passion for cooking and baking through her page @sivanskitchen. She’s grateful that Instagram has given her the opportunity to grow, connect with and impact so many on a daily basis. She lives in the Hollywood Hills, raising a family of four kids. Arielle 27, Yehuda 26, Lorenne 21, and Leaelle 13. Sivan recently became a proud grandma to her grandson Nathaniel Ben.
