Instructions

  • Wash chickpeas very well and pick off any loose skin. In the bowl of a food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, cumin, and salt; blend.
  • Add tahini, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape the sides if needed. While the food processor is running, drizzle olive oil through the chute.
  • Transfer to a bowl and top with your favorite spices. Serve with fresh pita.
