What blessing do you make on a smoothie made out of fruit?
The blessing is Shehakol because the fruit is disintegrated until it is completely unrecognizable as fruit (in addition to the fact that we almost always recite Shehakol on liquids). Note also that you generally will not say an after-blessing (Bracha Acharona) on a smoothie because it’s considered a liquid and liquids must be consumed rather quickly to warrant the after-blessing – which is not typical for a smoothie.
