Nancy K. S. Hochman is a retired English teacher and tutor, leaving her more time to write.
She has frequently contributed essays and articles to The New York Times Long Island Section, and Chabad.org. Her essays and articles have most recently appeared in The Forward, Ami Magazine, Sasee Magazine, and several Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies.
She is in the process of completing an anthology about October 7th and the two years following that horrific day. Her anthology is tentatively titled: Sparks of Light, 10/7 and Beyond: Gentle Heroism, Unbridled Kindness, and Open Miracles.
