There are several writings in the Talmud that does talk about Jesus, the intellects of the Talmud know it and the Christians know it. How do I know this with so much zealos? Lets go back to the invention of the printing press.. When the Persian Jews wanted to print the Talmud . . . The Church ruled State would not print the entire Talmud because the writings pointed to Jesus. Remember the Church has been around since the 4th Century and it was the 18th Century, not many generations of the Vatican has passed. And as we know, the Vatican is holding Jewish artifacts of the passed. They also have intellects who know the truth and they don't want all truths written down

The Catholic Church has a well-documented history of antisemitism, so saying that they decided the Talmud talks about Jesus is hardly any indication of solid evidence. If anything, they and others have used that accusation as a bludgeon and an excuse for persecution and demonization of Jews to this day.

Since no one today sits around believing anything the Talmud allegedly says about Jesus, perhaps making judgments based on what you think the Catholic Church believed centuries ago isn't a great idea.

Is the citation to Sanhedrin 43A correct? I do not see the quoted text on page 43A of the Schottenstein Edition of Sanhedrin.

Yesh koah, Rabbi Rowe!
To rectify the phonetic problems and for additional information, I think the following may be helpful:

I have a stupid question. I am hard of hearing and have to use captions to help with watching videos. And I keep seeing the word "Nazi" which I'm sure is not what he's saying, but what is he actually saying? One example is near the end he says "they wouldn't have invented a story about Yeshua the Nazi", in the captions. It is at about 12:33 in the video.

Replying to nile, the word that Rabbi Rowe is saying is נצרי (pronounced notzri) which means Nazarene. It’s unfortunate, but many times the CC (closed captioning) in online videos is unreliable. And, btw, it is not a stupid question.

Thank you for clarifying, I've experienced that kind of thing with captions before but this one was a head scratcher.
