- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- ¾ cup peeled pistachios
- 1 tablespoon ras el hanout
- 1 egg
Tahini, pickles, harissa or schug, for serving

Instructions
- In a medium sauté pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 10 minutes.
- Add pistachios and ras el hanout and mix well. Taste and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat oven to 400℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Slice the puff pastry into 4-inch squares. Place a spoonful of minced meat on the sheet pan and top with a square of dough. Repeat with remaining meat and dough. Brush dough with egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Turn one square over, spread with tahini or other favorite spreads and top with another square making the perfect boureka sandwich.
