Why isn’t this story making headline news?
Itay Kashti, an Israeli music producer and composer living in the UK, was kidnapped and beaten by three Muslims because he is an Israeli Jew. He narrowly escaped and saved his own life.
When Itay received an email from a record company’s executive inviting him to a songwriting retreat, he wasn’t suspicious at all. Itay receives invitations like this all the time.
He looked into the program and even spoke to the organizer, and everything checked out fine.
All of the details were taken care of. The Airbnb in Carmarthenshire was booked for him, and his cab ride, which was to pick him up from his London home, was scheduled as well.
Upon arriving at the country cottage, he was met with a scene out of a horror movie. Three men, Faiz Shah, 23, Mohammad Comrie, 23, and Elijah Ogunnubi-Sime, 20, appeared out of nowhere and attacked Itay, beating him and kicking him until he bled. They also assaulted the cab driver, who had been helping with the luggage.
All three were wearing face-like rubber masks to conceal their true identity. The taxi driver was able to run away and call the police, but Itay was not so lucky.

They handcuffed Itay to a radiator, and then unbelievable, they left him alone. While by himself, Itay noticed that he was attached to a disconnected pipe. This enabled him to unhook himself, find his phone, and run away to a nearby bush close to the property. He used his phone to call his wife who then informed the police as well.
Itay described his ordeal as horrifying. He thought that he was going to be killed. While alone and injured, he recalled his ancestors who had survived the Holocaust and the hostages in Gaza kidnapped by Hamas. If not for his kidnappers’ lack of sophistication, Itay is quite certain that he would have been killed.
While the kidnappers’ execution of their plan was amateur, their planning was premeditated and sophisticated.
They spent time making a list of items to purchase for the kidnapping, including ketamine to drug Itay, handcuffs, a fake gun, and a blindfold, among other paraphernalia. While they went after Itay for monetary reasons, there were radical religious motivations at play as well.
In the chat that the kidnappers created for this endeavor, they claimed, “We all believe 100% in Allah, so we cannot fail.”
The three agreed to hide their true Jihadist intentions to avoid a more severe sentence if their plan was foiled.
Once captured by authorities, the defendants faced a British court to receive their punishment. Although they at first pleaded not guilty, by day two of the proceedings, they pleaded guilty.
But they still have no remorse.
The kidnappers, who met online through their common hatred of Jews, believed that Itay profited financially from West Bank settlements. They also saw that he had attended pro-Israel rallies, which they believed justified their heinous crimes. One of the men claimed, “No remorse for a man like this, he ain’t just some Jew doing it for the bag [money], he actually loves this s@%!”
A few weeks ago, the assailants were sentenced to eight years in jail.
Judge Catherine Richards expressed she had “no doubt” that Itay was selected and then targeted due to “his wealth and Jewish heritage.”
The judge added, “[The defendants] seemed to justify action against the victim in this case based on his background, as if he was less worthy of your respect and compassion, and [that is] utterly abhorrent to any right-thinking person.”
The three kidnappers
Itay Kashti has been rattled to the core by the events he endured, saying the attack felt like his “own personal October 7th.” He no longer feels safe in his community and isn’t sure how he will be able to continue to make a living, given what has happened.
He stated, “A heavy weight has been added to my shoulders, which is unlikely to go away any time soon. As though something dramatic is about to happen at all times.”
Despite the horrific nature of this kidnapping, a blatant act of antisemitism committed in the UK, mainstream media has barely mentioned this story.
Attacks on Jews in all forms must stop. We must not continue to turn a blind eye to antisemitism.

This would get them deported to their country of origin once released from prison in some countries now.
Just today I read about a Hamas-supporting Arab mayoral candidate in NYC. A known advocate for Hamas and other anti-Israel causes, Linda Sarsour, has come out for this guy. Yet people are paying attention to him and he is raising plenty of money for his Democrat campaign. Some of the contributors are even Jews, if that can be believed. He would be a bad seed planted in NYC, turning it into London. I cannot believe that in NYC, site of 9-11 (which I witnessed), a muslim candidate with pro-Hamas leanings can be seriously considered a viable mayoral or any other kind of candidate. This is a result of indoctrination by public schools and universities and poor education by parents, especially Jewish ones. WAKE UP PEOPLE, before another tragedy occurs.
The article implies that he looked online to confirm the legitimacy of the venue. That puzzles me.
Entertainers, especially wealthy successful ones, can be impossibly naive, which comes from a certain preoccupation with self. I call it the "chasing butterflies" syndrome. This little growing up experience may have saved his life and woke him up, actually make him a better person and benefit the world and himself for it.
It looks like the world has a Muslim invasion, it is like they are poisonous mushrooms or a snake's venom, they will start with Jews and then target non Muslim after that they will target if you are not the right Muslim, they like war, death, and destruction before Moshiach comes it says in prophets we will have lots of trouble from Ishmael and it is very true unfortunately

HOW is this not front page news EVERYWHERE?! Why do I have to find it buried in the Aish newsletter?! What is going on with this insane world turned upside down?! Thank goodness at least these monsters got some time in jail, a big surprise considering all the other terrorists and supporters who get off with a slap on the wrist, if that much, although these actions were more extreme. I am not Jewish, but I am incensed and devastated by the horrific events of Oct. 7 and the ensuing hideous rise in antisemitism everywhere. I feel so helpless to do anything to make it stop, as if I'm swatting at fires only to have 10 more arise after I get one under control. I pray for Israel and the Jewish people, who have suffered too much!!

In the time of the Holocaust the story about what was happening in Europe concerning the Jews was also buried in The New York Times, so now the newspapers in England I don't think mention it all all, you are right you don't have to be Jewish incensed, any decent human being would feel the same way, first they start with the Jews and then they ill start with everyone else, and with Muslims if you are not the right type of Muslim 5hey will start with you too, you are right the world is upside down like the plane that landed like that in Canada
Britain needs to wake up and deal proactively with antisemitism in their society.
Problem is that Britain has always acted with brittleness towards Jews. Don't forget that during the British mandate in what they called Palestine, they always sided with the Arabs against the Jews, looking the other way when the Muslims acted violently. Instead of saving the lives of Jewish refugees from Europe, they turned them away.
Hard to understand how Jews can still want to live there, especially now that it's overridden by Arab thugs!
You gave me an idea... How many Western European countries, and including the USA too, would react to the following offer: 6 million Israeli Jews willing to swap with nations, an exchange for full citizenship, with an equal number of Palestinian refugees and illegal immigrants who would take over Palestine as their nation or whatever they want to call it. Who would not jump at the chance? Look what the Mormons accomplished in Utah, they have a trillion dollar economy and political power all across that country. And it took them 120 years... We could do that in a decade.
It would mean abandoning the land G-d gave us. The land has always been a transition zone and thus attractive to empire builders with the resultant turbulence. But it also guarantees exposure to Jewish culture and values, a chance to educate the world. None of which is accidental.
From the practical perspective, it should be noted that other attempts in the past to create Jewish enclaves elsewhere were never successful.
Far before the Balfour Declaration and ever since, British history has shown that they have never been particular fans of Jews. Now that a very large proportional minority in Britain are Middle Eastern, Muslims driven mad by incessant radical tribalism, you're expecting something different now?

If you know something of history including the 20th century then you know that Jews are not special in that regard, especially all the way up to this minute in places like Congo, Russia and Southeast Asia. And by the way tribalism based on territory is no different when coming out of the mouths of jews than from "Palestinian" Arabs, except for what they actually do about it. We all create God and religion for our own use and needs, not the other way around.

The fact that the kidnappers also beat the taxi driver once again illustrates how Islamic violence knows no boundaries. A point the world ignores at its peril!

I was just in Poland (Katowice and Wrocław) last week on business. Living in Vienna, one becomes accustomed to seeing Muslims everywhere. Not in Poland. During my time there, I didn't see any.
