Are you passionate about Jewish issues? Can you articulate your opinions in clean, unadorned prose that's engaging and culturally relevant? Are you able to write thoughtful, authoritative, factual pieces about Jewish history, food, philosophy, holidays, current events, wisdom, or the intersection between Judaism and science geared for a wide Jewish audience?

If yes, Aish.com, one of the world's largest Jewish content sites, is looking for writers. Please send two samples of your writing – published work is better, but we'll accept blog posts or unpublished pieces, too – and a blurb about your background, interests, and experience.

We're open to any style – being your genuine self is a must – but appreciate edge, personality, humor, and even some snark. We pay competitive rates for quality writing.

  1. I agree with Chasya Bernstein. Get your children out of those universities. Stop paying for their education asap. They will get a world class education somewhere else. Columbia University will go down in history as the most intolerable and dangerous institution.

  2. Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson is indeed a saint.

It is exactly for today and this age that he worked tirelessly in his day and age to build up Chabad, and to spread His Righteousness, to establish it upon this earth.

Please do not fail Him; it is the purpose for which you were created: To save this world from today's present evil.

  3. I just wonder where a 19-20 decided that the best way to fight antisemitism is to build a thriving Jewish life on a goyish campus? Isn't this maybe a question that the Torah and its great Sages should be consulted on? Perhaps the best way to fight antisemitism is to get out of dodge (i.e. these goyish colleges) and immerse ourselves in a more Jewish environment?

  4. Jewish students should belong to chabad, hillel, and the local orthodox community, it is very sad the higher places of learning around the world is like germany in the 1930s/1940s it is like we went back in time, i believe in ^never again^

    1. Many don't realize that in pre-Nazi Germany, 70% of university professors were Jewish (not to mention their major presence in other professions), so no one could foresee the disaster that took place overnight.

Now we see that history does, in fact, repeat itself -- right there in the "land of the free and the home of the ..."depraved (anti-Semites), deluded & duped (pro-"Palestinians" who fall for Arab propaganda hook, line & sinker), and the dopey (mindless college students who are enslaved to their leftist professors' evil worldviews).

  5. I admire the author's adult children for their bravery and determination, but I disagree that their schools offer a "world-class education," which is simply not possible when all the humanities and now, even the sciences, are infected with identity politics and suffused with anti-Western, antisemitic propaganda. A world-class education isn't possible in an environment where rational, respectful debates have been outlawed by the mob. The best lesson for these universities is for them to lose their Jewish students to worthier universities, of which there are many. Their reputations will go into freefall, and perhaps then they will see it was a mistake to capitulate to the extremists in their midst, including hundreds of professors.

    1. There is another factor which upsets me greatly. How on earth can a student CONCENTRATE on learning/studying/doing well when all of this horror permeates the atmosphere? Someone told me that our NY State governor has called in the National Guard to deal with the situation...

  6. Your son won't forego the 'world-class education' he thinks he will get? Get real! Unless he is studying math or engineering, everything in the liberal arts is tainted by post-colonial, Marxist narrative. Why does he not opt for a real education, in a Torah environment, where the underlying principle is Truth, not whatever catches people's fancy at the moment?

    1. Even "pure" sciences like math & engineering can be tainted by an instructor's evil "sturm und drang." (Simple arithmetic is taught to Arab kids in a most revolting way, and the theme of killing Jews continues to infiltrate everything they do, including computer "games"!)

Observant Jews should consult with authentic daas Torah before sending their kids off to gain "higher" education at the hands of leftists, "progressives" and anti-Semites..

  7. I dont feel sorry for anyone that sends their kids to one of these Universities, because if they did their research they would know they are seeped in a Marxist Comminust Tolerant culture. DO your research!!!!

  8. Good grief, you think that having your kids stay in such places where their very lives are in danger, is a good thing? This is part of the craziness out there! Bring them home, and let them create their grassroots protest in support of Israel in a safe environment. Their social media accounts can reach the same people in the safety of your own home or at a safer university environment.
And , stop payment on any further tuition checks to these vile mouthpieces calling for the murder of Jews.

    1. I actually wrote that same chant down awhile back:
From the river to the sea
We know Israel will always be!

        1. Yes, of course. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I would LOVE to see the funding dry up for all the (poison) Ivy League universities. I also want to see those anti Semites booted out.

    2. Yes, yes, let's all adopt this and become equal to Hamas. Do we really need a race to the bottom right now?

      Shame on you!

        1. I hope that ADS means we should defend ourselves against bestial attacks from the violent, lying and/or mindless dregs of society by maintaining our human dignity because that might do more to reveal the truth.
