He’s promoting Jewish values too.

With the passionate speech he gave days after the Hamas massacre on Oct 7, Eric Adams, the Mayor of New York City, demonstrated to the world his commitment and love for Israel.

He said:

We are not all right when we see young girls pulled from their home and dragged through the streets. We are not all right when we see grandmothers being pulled away from their homes and children shot in front of their families. We are not all right when right here in the City of New York you have those who celebrate at the same time when the devastation is taking place in our city…

We will not be all right until every person responsible for this act is held accountable… Hamas must be disbanded and destroyed immediately… I'm here today to say not only am I the chief executive of this city, but I'm your brother. Your fight is my fight.

Jewish people everywhere felt his sincerity, that he is a brother, and “your fight is my fight.”

And now the Mayor is doing more than standing up for Israel; he is actively promoting Jewish values. He’s getting behind the Clean Speech NYC, a community-wide initiative with 31 participating organizations and thousands of New Yorkers aimed at educating and raising awareness about the power of speaking kindly to each other and stamping out hate speech.

You don’t have to live in New York to join this incredible opportunity to inculcate the Jewish value of positive speech. Anyone can sign up right here to get a daily short video with a practical tool based on timeless Jewish wisdom to speak more mindfully and kindly with those around you. I think it's great he's on the Jews side. He is a brother.
