Erez Farkas grew up in Toronto. He studied business at McMaster, but soon set off to Israel on a Birthright trip. Erez planned on extending his trip to stay on kibbutz and “figure things out,” but realized that he’d get farther by studying in yeshiva. He spent the next five years at Aish Jerusalem and received rabbinic ordination in 2006. Since 2007, Erez and his wife Jane have been leading trips to Israel and working with Aish Campus in Toronto.
