Turning Jew-Hatred into Jewish Strength

Jordan Peterson faced 20 atheists and was challenged on one of Scripture's most disturbing stories: the destruction of Amalek.
Rabbi Rowe breaks down exactly what the text actually says, the full history of Amalek, what the classical Jewish commentators teach, and why this story is radically different from what most people assume.

Hashem orders humans to destroy Amalek, the ideology and/or the people who represent the ideology. What is more ethically troubling to me is the Passover story, where Hashem himself murders every Egyptian first born, small babies and animals included. The idea of G-d as a murderer is unsettling to me. It's hard to wrap my brain around this concept.
Seems to me God's ethics are not human ethics. God kills seemingly innocent first borns snd there must have been many just as there are innocents God allows to be killed in all wars and sometimes commands Israel to kill them ourselves such as the seven nations snd prior to thst the Midianite women snd male children. The only way I can make sense of it and be an observant Jew is to believe in more than one lifetime (gilgul)and more than one world. Eventually justice is done. I may be mistaken but I have faith snd believe in a loving God. The prophecies have largely been proven to be true and geula be"H is coming soon.
Not only did HE destroy sodom&gmorah but he destroyed 5 other groups all this contrary to the rainbow promise
even small children learn in school that the rainbow promise was not to destroy the entire world with a flood. It didn’t include specific towns such a sedom. Before you knock the Torah, learn it first and you’ll see there is only truth.
