We should not ignore that - our first resource on this issue of divorce - that is In our G-D's Written Torah - where "HE"- specifically addresses Torah Commandments related to marriage & divorce issues. We should seek Him & His Torah Commandments first - for advice/resolution - saving a lot of time - money & aggravation & not ignore His word - as inconsequential nuisance advice. As we should also do - on all our spiritual issues in life.
Doesn’t Halacha limit kefia ~ forcing a husband to divorce his wife, to those instances specifically mentioned by the Talmud, and if coercion is applied in other situations that would disqualify the Gett?
Re the universe, it’s very likely that the Creator has put spiritual beings on more than one planet.
Re the story of the dress, why not just lend the dress for the wedding but take it to his wife afterwards?
