This dish is perfect for celebrating Shavuot or any other festive brunch!

The grapes, feta cheese, honey and olive oil symbolize the land of milk and honey.

The melted feta cheese perfectly pairs with the juicy, sweet roasted grapes and the sumac spice brings the middle eastern flavors to a different level.

This dish preparation is effortless and I can guarantee that everyone will love it!

It’s easily spreadable on a piece of bread or some pita chips! Don’t forget the wine 🙂

  • 200 grams feta cheese, cut into thick cubes 7 ounces
  • 4 small vines red grapes
  • Handful of fresh thyme and rosemary leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Garnish- fresh thyme

Instructions

  • Preheat oven on convection broil to 450°F.
  • On a nice ceramic shallow bowl place the feta cheese cubes in the center.
  • Add the grape vines with the grapes still attached around it.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme and rosemary leaves.
  • Sprinkle the sumac and the sesame seeds over top.
  • Drizzle honey and olive oil.
  • Transfer to the oven on 450°F convection broil.
  • Roast for 10-15 minutes until the feta is melting and the grapes are bursting.
  • Serve it with pita chips or a good bread and enjoy!
