Old Moishe Rosenberg was relaxing at his hundredth birthday party when a reporter from the local Jewish newspaper who was on hand asked him, "Mr. Rosenberg, what is the secret to your long life?"
Old Moishe Rosenberg replied, "Every evening at 9 p.m. I have some herring and a l’chaim of schnapps.”
The reporter then asked, "Herring and schnapps? That's ALL?"
Old Moishe Rosenberg smiled and added, "Well, canceling my ticket on the Titanic sure didn't hurt."
