Jewish Deli Roll

A modern traditional dish you are going to love!

FacebookTwitterLinkedInPrintFriendlyShare

Deli meat is forever cool! Slather on some mustard (or mayo, your call!), and you've got that deli fix, whether you roll with rye or go bun-less.

Now, the OG deli roll? Total kosher kitchen vibes, like the gefilte fish scene. Imagine layers of deli goodness wrapped in flaky, savory puff pastry, topped with a smear of mustard. It's like biting into a deli sandwich on steroids, packed with incredible flavors and that perfect puff pastry crunch – whether you enjoy it hot or room temp.

And here's the pro tip: Wanna prep in advance? Seal that delight tight, toss it in the freezer raw. When the cravings hit, just pop it out, throw it on a baking pan into your preheated oven. Add an extra 5 minutes to the bake time for that golden perfection. Deli dreams do come true!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • ½ pound sliced smoked turkey breast
  • ½ pound sliced pastrami and/or corned beef
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

I believe you have a typo in your calorie count for one serving. Did you mean to say that the count is for a full Deli Roll? if so, how big is the Deli Roll?
