Rabbi Josh Kanter is from Skokie, IL where he studied at the Skokie Yeshiva.  He then learned for 2 years at Kerem B'Yavneh and did undergrad studies at YU. He received Smicha from YU/RIETS including 2 years at Gruss and received an MA in education from YU's Azrieli school of Jewish Education and Administration. He also did an MBA at Machon Lev.
After spending time teaching at various post high school programs in Israel, he served as Director of Jewish Studies Programs for Masa Israel and most recently as Director of Operations for Shapell's and Medreshet Rachel.
He lives in Efrat with his wife and kids.
