How could humanity allow the Holocaust to happen?
Using audio recorded in 1995 during a visit to Auschwitz, overlaid with a new animation, Rabbi Sacks shares a powerful idea on faith after the Holocaust. Learn more about Rabbi Sacks' work at https://www.RabbiSacks.org/

Very powerful piece. If I might suggest a correction? The Nazi wasn't "moved" by the Kel Malei Rachamim. He saved the Jew to use him to sing for him. Saying he was moved makes it sound like the Nazi was a normal person and unfortunately for the rest of the Jews, they weren't holy or spiritual enough to move this Nazi animal, may his name be obliterated forever.
Beautifully spoken. I weep.
