Rabbi Dan Rand began with Aish Toronto in 1998 and two years later became director of the Aish young professional program, later renamed Aish20s. In 2004, Rabbi Rand became educational director of Aish Toronto, and in 2005 the managing director of Aish Toronto. Rabbi Rand has a B.A. and M.A. in Jewish Studies from McGill University, five years of postgraduate rabbinic studies, and rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Aryeh Leib Baron of Montreal. Before joining Aish, Rabbi Rand was a Jewish Studies teacher for seven years in Indianapolis and later at CHAT in Toronto. Rabbi Rand and his wife, Paula, live in Thornhill with their six children.
