If King David authored Psalms, how is it that several of the Psalms talk about events which occurred long after David’s time, such as Psalm 137: “By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat and also cried as we remembered Zion”.
It’s clear from the Bible and our knowledge of ancient history that idolatry was rampant among primitive man all throughout the world. What did our ancestors see in it? Was it all just nonsense?
