Rabbi Daniel Mechanic is the Director of Project Chazon, an organization he founded in 1996 to present seminars on Jewish philosophy to day school students. To date, 2,500 seminars have been parented to over 180,000 students in 340 schools. Rabbi Mechanic is also a world-renowned lecturer on topics relating to Jewish outreach, and is recognized as an authority in dealing with "at-risk teens.” He presents numerous workshops to parents and educators, and has been invited to speak at many major conventions and
scholar-in-residence programs. Rabbi Mechanic joined Aish HaTorah in 1981, and spent 15
years as a lecturer and co-director of the Discovery Seminar. He received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Avraham Pam zt”l at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas. Rabbi Mechanic resides in Brooklyn with his wife and five children.
