Rabbi Dovid Schoonmaker, originally from New Jersey, joined Aish in 2002 and has been Director of the Beis Medrash program since 2007. He studied in Jerusalem under Rabbi Tzvi Kushelefsky and Rabbi Yaakov Friedman, and has rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg. Rabbi Schoonmaker taught for many years in the NCSY Summer Kollel.
