About the Author


Rabbi Jared Viders

Rabbi Yered Michoel (a/k/a Jared) Viders hails from Huntington, New York.  After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and Boston College Law School, he learned Torah in Jerusalem. After returning to the states, Rabbi Viders served as a judicial law clerk on the highest court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Rabbi Viders then moved to Monsey, New York to continue learning in Yeshiva Ohr Somayach.
In addition to his law practice, Rabbi Viders teaches at Yeshiva Ohr Somayach, Monsey. He also serves as Outreach Coordinator for JEP of Westchester and routinely lectures on behalf of JEP of Rockland in addition to his weekly Shabbat class for women. His first book, “Seize the Moment: Finding Meaningfulness in the Here and Now” has recently been published by Mosaica Press.
