About the Author


Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz

Bentzion Kravitz, is an acknowledged authority on Judaism, spirituality, and Christian polemics. He founded Jews for Judaism International in 1985, and is the Executive Director of the Los Angeles center of Jews for Judaism.
Born in 1954 in New York, Rabbi Kravitz attended the University of Texas in Austin, majoring in communications, and went on to earn his degree from the Rabbinical College of America.
He is a popular and sought after speaker, and has lectured extensively throughout the United States, the former Soviet Union, South Africa, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and Israel. His wide varieties of presentations have been enthusiastically received by all denominations of Judaism.
With over 30 years of experience, he has one of the highest success records in the Jewish community for counseling family and individuals Jews involved in cults and fundamentalist groups.
Rabbi Kravitz has successfully published many articles and is the author of the highly acclaimed booklet, The Jewish Response to Missionaries. There are currently more than 345,000 copies of the booklet in print in nine languages; English, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Chinese and Persian.
Rabbi Kravitz is the 2011 recipient of the Cohon Award for his outstanding work contributing to Jewish Unity.
