About the Author


Elazar Grunberger

Elazar Grunberger was raised in El Paso, Texas, and by age 17 was the youngest Top 40 radio DJ in the United States. After attending the University of Texas at El Paso, he studied in Jerusalem and received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Noach Weinberg and Rabbi Nissim Karelitz. Elazar spent over 25 years as the Director of Aish St. Louis, and for 15 years as spiritual leader of a large synagogue congregation. In 2011, Rabbi Grunberger and his family moved to Modiin in central Israel, where he serves as director of the Lev Modiin community. Elazar also serves as program coordinator of Aish's Exectuive learning Center, and a Managing Director of the Aish Center in Jerusalem. He and his wife Brocha have 10 wonderful children, with adorable grandchildren residing on both sides of Atlantic.
