Rachel Horowitz bought her five year old son Moishie to Dr. Sapirman’s office. Moishe was what they call a “vilda chaya” -- a hyperactive child. Sapped of energy Rachel made no effort to restrain Moishie as he ransacked an adjoining room.

But finally, an extra loud clatter of bottles did prompt her to say, "I hope, Dr. Sapirman, you don't mind Moishie being in there."

"No," said the doctor calmly, "He'll get quiet when he gets to the valium."
