A reporter for the Jewish Times came to visit Moishe and Miriam Sapperstein to write a profile on the elderly couple who had been married for 70 years. The reporter was so impressed by the way Moishe preceded every request to Miriam with endearing terms-- Honey, My Love, Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, etc.

While Miriam was in the kitchen, the reporter leaned over to Moishe and said, "Is that the secret to your long marriage? That after all these years, you still call her by those loving pet names."

Moishe hung his head. "I have to tell you the truth," he said, "I forgot her name about 10 years ago."
