Mistake yet to be determined, but members hope it will be one of their best yet.

JEWLARIOUS SATIE – Yesterday, in Tripoli, the Arab League convened an emergency meeting in order to make a mistake of monumental proportions. While the precise mistake was not yet determined, as discussions were continuing into the night, Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa said, "It is not the issue itself that is important. What is important is that, like always, we come out on the side that offends all of humanity -- sometimes even ourselves."

Pundit, Charles Krauthammer speculated that the Arab League was on the verge of "making a massive, backward and senseless error," suggesting that they may vote to back deceased former dictator Saddam Hussein in the ongoing insurgency. Meanwhile, Thomas Friedman suggested that they may "go nostalgic" and vote once again to reject the UN Partition of Palestine or to support Muammar Gaddafi over his involvement in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 which exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland. Meanwhile, the BBC lauded the undetermined mistake in advance, calling it "a watershed" and a "turning point for the West to make up for the many humiliations that have befallen the Arab peoples since their last major mistake... and the many before that."

They may "go nostalgic" and vote once again to reject the UN Partition of Palestine.

Despite a history of making "snap" irrational decisions that undermine long term self-interest, Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa stated, "We will not make any hasty declarations. While the best and most memorable mistakes seem to come almost instantly, we know that if we work hard on this one, we can really eliminate any shred of remaining goodwill that exists in this challenging post-911 world." Moussa paused and contemplatively said, "Maybe we can come up with a mistake that will eclipse our members cheering at the news of the 9-11 attacks. Wouldn't that be something?"
