Mrs. Cohen was giving her second-grade students a lesson in science. She taught them about magnets and showed how they could pick up nails and other bits of iron.
Now it was time for a question to make sure that the students had retained what she taught them. "My name begins with the letter 'M' and I pick up things. What am I?" asked Mrs. Cohen.
