Serenity is True Success

King Solomon says in Proverbs 17:1: "Better a morsel of dry bread and tranquility with it, than a house full of feasting with strife."

The prosperity and success of the wicked, however impressive, is only an illusion. Many people live in a state of discord - with family, co-workers and neighbors. Far better is the life of the righteous man - even if he has only a crust of bread - because he has peace in his home.

Inner serenity is the essence of true success in life, and this is totally independent of material possessions.
